The Ford Explorer crossover sport utility vehicle is sold in four different trims at Malouf Ford in North Brunswick, NJ. A rear-wheel drive is an all-new feature that was added to the car's design in 2020. Drivers will also get tremendous leverage from the Terrain Management System that works well with the self-sealing tires from the legendary Michelin brand.

The Explorer's 2.3 L engine block has an entry-level design. Featuring four cylinders with a single turbocharger, the EcoBoost engine generates a maximum of 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Twin turbochargers allow the 3.0 L EcoBoost engine to whip out 365 hp and 380 lb-ft. A 3.3 L engine with natural aspiration is paired with a hybrid propulsion system. All Explorer models come standard with the SelectShift automatic transmission system. You can engage 10 gear speeds for smooth driving on the highway. Some of the gear ratios are engineered for uphill and downhill motion.
